Trust & Safety at PlayVideo.AI

PlayVideo.AI is a creative tool. Like any creative tool, it can be misused — and we take that seriously. This page explains how we keep the platform safe for the people who use it and the people who appear in the content it creates.

We believe trust is earned through specifics, not slogans. Here's what we actually do.

Our principles

People come first. Every person depicted in content on PlayVideo.AI deserves to have been depicted with their consent. Every user deserves a platform that isn't weaponized against them.

Defense in depth. No single safeguard is perfect. We combine automated detection, user accountability, human review, and clear rules. Each layer catches what the others miss.

Act fast, explain clearly. When something goes wrong, we respond quickly and tell users why. No silent bans, no vague rejections.

Transparency over theater. We'd rather publish a short, honest page than a long one full of marketing language. If you have questions this page doesn't answer, email us.

What we don't allow

The following content is prohibited on PlayVideo.AI, without exception:

  • Content depicting minors in any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative context
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery of any kind
  • Content depicting real people without their consent, including public figures and celebrities
  • Content designed to harass, defame, or impersonate specific individuals
  • Sexual content involving identifiable real people
  • Content depicting graphic violence, gore, or self-harm
  • Content promoting terrorism, hate, or violence against protected groups
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property

These rules apply to what users upload and what they generate. Violating them results in immediate removal and account termination.

How we enforce these rules

1. Automated screening on every upload

Before any image enters our generation pipeline, it passes through industry-standard content classification systems that check for:

  • Apparent presence of minors
  • Known child sexual abuse material (matched against established hash databases)
  • Explicit sexual content
  • Graphic violence or disturbing imagery

Uploads that fail these checks are rejected automatically. The user sees a clear message explaining what happened. Nothing is processed, stored long-term, or forwarded to our generation models.

2. Output-side filtering

The AI models powering PlayVideo.AI have their own safety systems that prevent the generation of prohibited content. We keep these enabled at all times and do not offer unrestricted modes, bypasses, or workarounds that disable safety filters.

3. User accountability

Every user of PlayVideo.AI agrees to our Terms of Service and confirms their age at signup. For features involving uploaded photos of people, users must additionally confirm — at the point of upload — that they have the right to use the image and that the person depicted has given permission.

These confirmations are logged with a timestamp. They are a meaningful legal commitment, not a checkbox ritual.

4. Human review and admin tooling

Our team maintains internal tools that surface flagged uploads, repeat rule violations, and unusual activity patterns. A human reviews ambiguous cases. We ban accounts that misuse the platform and retain records that prevent trivial re-signup.

5. Reporting

Anyone — user or not — can report content they believe violates our rules. Reports go to abuse@playvideo.ai and are reviewed within 48 hours. If you are the person depicted in content on our platform and did not consent, we will remove it. Contact us at the same address.

6. Cooperation with authorities

We report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities as required by law. We respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement. We comply with applicable takedown obligations under the DMCA, the EU Digital Services Act, and similar frameworks.

What we don't do

Being specific about what we don't do is as important as listing what we do.

  • We do not train AI models on user uploads.
  • We do not sell user data.
  • We do not retain uploaded images longer than necessary for the generation they are used for. Generated outputs are retained according to our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not offer features designed to produce non-consensual, explicit, or deceptive content about real people.

Keeping this honest

Moderation is never finished. New misuse patterns emerge, detection tools improve, and laws evolve. We update our systems continuously and this page when material changes occur.
